Acts 13 | Paul and Barnabas are well into their first missionary journey when they hit the mainland again. They encounter some people interested in their message and are confronted by a fellow Jew who is also a false prophet and into sorcery.
Acts 12 | Peter, as well as the rest of the disciples, had been warned to stop teaching about Jesus in the Temple. In fact, many of them had been arrested already. And the executions have started. Peter is arrested awaiting his turn to be beheaded when prayer prompts God to intervene!
Acts 11 | As believers are streaming away from the violence in Jerusalem they find themselves looking for community in new places. Many of them find themselves north of Israel in a Roman city called Antioch.
Acts 10 | Up to this point, the movement of Jesus followers has been growing like crazy within the Hebrew community, yet God has even bigger plans! Those plans will be burst on the scene with a most unusual baptism candidate!
Acts 9 | Now that Saul has turned from being the chief persecutor of the church to its newest convert, he is having trouble making friends. Seems few people believe the conversion is real! At least, few poeple are willing to risk their lives to find out.
